  • Appalachian Trail: A hiking trail that stretches 2,100 miles from Maine to Georgia.   • Cherohala Skyway: A National Scenic Byway that crosses mile-high mountains on the Tennessee-North Carolina border. Begins in Tellico Plains, TN and ends at Robbinsville, NC.   • Ocoee Scenic Byway: The first National Forest Scenic Byway in the U.S. The Byway follows 26 miles of highway along the Ocoee River on U.S. Highway 64 and Forest Service Road 77 to Chilhowee Lake and Campground.
