The map shows the East Tennessee cities where Tennessee Heritage Trail sites can be found. Descriptions of the sites are included under the city headings
through out this site. Look for trail icons under the attractions listings.
Our Heritage Trails link attractions in three categories Arts & Crafts, History and Music, to showcase the distinctive character and talents of Tennesseans. The sites on the trails allow visitors to delve deep into our rich heritage, and include both well-known and obscure attractions that share a common theme.
The History Trail presents sites where the actions of people and events have shaped the course of the “Volunteer State”. The Arts and Crafts Trail offers a range of sites from small-town crafts commissaries and studios to urban fine arts galleries, and from community musical jam sessions to lavish performing arts venues. Sites on the Music Trail have been selected to showcase the diversity of our music and musicians, including bluegrass and contemporary country, rock & roll, gospel, folk, and even comedy vaudeville in our own down-home Style!
