Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum provides continuing proof that truth is oftentimes stranger than fiction. Like its counterparts in the U.S. and elsewhere, the Gatlinburg branch of Ripley's Museum fascinates and intrigues visitors with numerous oddities collected from around the world. Among the displays that museumgoers may see in Gatlinburg are a prehistoric mastodon, a robot created from car parts, and a kit designed to kill vampires. The Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum building was rebuilt in 1995 after the original was destroyed in a fire. While visiting the Ripley’s Museum, be sure to also visit the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and the Ripley’s Moving Theater!
